Colleen Waltman

Comments: I must first express my heartfelt sympathy to Michelle, Seren, Len's extended family and Len's extended library family. I know he touched so many of you in so many ways that words are still very hard to find and you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I too, appreciated Len's excellent PALS Day presentation, his tech. expertise, his dry sense of humor, his very distinct voice , and, of course, his true sense of customer service. Though I primarily knew Len only through mutual meeting attendance, and, perhaps a meal if it was a long meeting, I am grateful to have had the opportunity. I'm also grateful to have had, though ever so brief, a last interaction with him after a call disconnect during a recent OPAC Uers YUGMA meeting. True to form, he called my building and insisted that a staff member physcially go to my office so that he could help get me back on the call. Luckily, I had gotten back on and we shared a laugh about the technology. He will be truly missed.
