Comments: Len challenged us all by word and example to keep in mind the struggles of the smallest of our fellow PALS libraries. His family must be proud of all of his accomplishments. His work was fundamental in helping the PALS system become a reality, and we will always be grateful for his guidance and assistance as we faced the challenges of the merger. Len was a key person able to keep the larger picture in view at all times. Our memories of him will be of his dedicated hard work, his keen wit, his humor, and his tireless attention to the needs of others.
